Story Spotlight

Lilyana is a 2021 Alumni Scholarship awardee and attends California Lutheran University. Majoring in multi-media with an emphasis in animation and visual effects, her dream job is to be an animator and do character design for animation studios. Lilyana started college in August 2020 during COVID. Everything was online and it felt kind of surreal to be on a new college campus starting classes and forming new friendships in this strange new world with all of the distancing restrictions. “It was so nice to learn about the scholarship from EAHSF in my Freshman year and still be connected and supported. I felt really comforting being able to get help from my school at such a hard time – it relieved a lot of stress on me and my family.”
